Zygopetalum maxillare

These like to be in an intermediate temperature minimum 12°C in winter in a shady position with regular spraying for humidity. Take care not to overwater to the roots. The flower stems emerge alongside the new leaf growth. 

A creeping habit of growth.

These are young plants and will need a few years to grow to be flowering size.

When in flower they have green and brown splodge patterned flowers and a purple and lilac lip. Flower pattern may vary a little to that shown in the picture.

Average pot size is 8cm.
