Coelogyne ochracea var alba

 The short sprays of pure white flowers. This is a Himalayan orchid and needs distinct wet and dry seasons throughout the year. Through spring and summer we are watering regularly and spraying the leaves too. The flowers emerge from the centre of the new leaf growth in spring which continues to grow after the flowers have gone, making a new pseudobulb at its base. Keep drier and cool, dropping to 10°C, during the winter.

Producing a wonderful fragrance.

The average pot size is 9-12cm.
